Burbank Aero Crossings is planned to include 863 units of housing (80 of which will be designated as affordable units and 12 of which will be designated as live-work units), a 151,000-square-foot office building, and 9,700 square feet of retail on the prior Fry’s Electronics site in Burbank.

The project is located immediately adjacent to the Hollywood Burbank Metrolink Station and the Hollywood Burbank Airport (which in 2019 was ranked #1 U.S. Airport by Fodor’s Travel, with 5.2 million passengers annually).

Project amenities include two rooftop decks with swimming pools, cabanas, and outdoor fireplaces, media screening walls, content creation rooms, and more. Designed by Urban Architecture Labs, the project has been designed to achieve a LEED Gold standard including numerous sustainable features such as drought tolerant landscaping, electric vehicle charging stations, solar power integration, and enhanced air filters. A variety of sound reducing features were also integrated into the design.

The property is located in Burbank – “the Media capital of the World,” which contains the global headquarters of Walt Disney, Warner Brothers, Netflix Animation, Nickelodeon Animation, and more. Burbank is experiencing a housing shortage with approximately 150,000 jobs and housing for roughly 40,000 households (3.5 jobs per house, the highest jobs to housing ratio in California).
